Nice & Cosy stay at Lake garden resort, Alleppey

Stay at Lake garden resort was very comfortable. I visited Alleppey on a very short tour with my parents, wife and kid. Mr. Ranjit at Lake garden resort is very helpful who arranged houseboat ride in short notice. Also, he helped to arrange vehicles for railway station transfer for our midnight train. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and well managed.

only for boys. zero security.... it is just like hostal... pool size is just like double bed...no food facility...very small hotel...tv has only malayalam channel...only one staff for counter and one staff for helps...

The rooms are basically ok. However the staff is very kind and generous towards any suggestions/complaints on taking action immediately. The cleanliness of the hotel is not that great. However we had to request for cleaning after we checked in as we were not satisfied with the level of cleanliness. The effectiveness of AC is very slow, which took almost half an hour to give a comfortable cooling effect even though it was set on least temperature. Pool is available and clean. Food is available on order basis.

When we first turned up the receptionist told the tuk tuk driver to wait and take us back as we didn’t have a reservation. I was so shocked because we had booked online. We got the travel company on the phone and she soon changed her tune and a room was suddenly available. Maybe she panicked as we were western tourists and there is additional paperwork to complete which she seemed unsure how to do. Luckily for her the rude start didn’t ruin the stay as the room was great 👍🏻 Clean, cool and the comfiest bed. Great location for the backwaters but set far enough back that it was peaceful.

I have stayed at this place for two days and extending further my stay for tomorrow and day after that. I found this place neat and well maintained. This place has attached swimming pool as complimentary. Room are well cleaned. Staff and security are very cooperative and disciplined. They also served morning breakfast in the hotel which is also nice. Overall i would recommend this hotel to people want to stay with their family.
